Project Cradle (Demo)
WHAT'S THE SCOOP:
Uh oh, the world needs your help! Play as a mobile "HelperBody" drone, tasked with maintaining mysterious underground facilities, spanning a remote island. Zip around at high speed, catch wicked air, and bounce around to somehow keep these facilities up and running!
This is an alpha demo for Project Cradle, a momentum platformer with emphasis on speed and aerial acrobatics! This demo is meant to establish a general look and feel for the game; many things are subject to change for the final game!
DEFAULT CONTROLS:
Move: WASD/DPad or Left Joystick
Jump: Spacebar/Gamepad Bottom Button (X on PS Controller)
Burst: Left Shift/Gamepad Left Button (Square on PS Controller)
Pause: Escape/Start
Toggle Fullscreen: F11
CREDITS I GUESS:
Special thanks to Distorted Schematic for the music in this project! He's done an excellent job in creating a Sega Genesis-inspired soundtrack for Project Cradle that I'm super excited to show off as the game progresses.

ahaha I love this
lordy, this is just adorable mate! and it's fun to play at that! I can't wait for the full version
awesome game
great game
Very fun to play, and actually sightreadable even at top speeds, nice game!
its like if pizza tower, sonic and a furry had a baby. so all in all pretty good.
very fun flow based platforming, feels kind of like sonic the hedgehog, except that you actually have time to react to jumps in this game. very cool!
Loving the look of the main character! Great job, great game!
Very cute characters and pleasant artstyle. I say going forward the mechanics should be better explained and the level design should be improved. But color me intrigued as I will be following the progress!
Very interesting take on the theme. In a lot of ways it feels like Uniracers with platforming, which is pretty cool. I like the character too, combining the concepts of rabbits being fast or jumping a lot into a robot with a big wheel for speed and being able to bounce off everything(including the air).
took me 8minutes and 40 seconds best game I played
game is pretty awesome sauce
This game is adorable and really fun to play. It feels really good to move around. I appreciate the guide for the dash, and wall jumping feels great. Does feel a little hard to differentiate some of the foreground and background objects to jump on in places, if I can point something out.
Can't wait to see the finished product, though! Wishlisted it on Steam!
Made an account just to say how incredible this demo is :D
It was really cool playing this on controller the other day, so psyched about the Steam release!!! Keep killing it!!!!
Dude this is amazing
Thank you so much Slime!!
I saw this game on tiktok and instantly knew it was gonna be a banger. It took me a bit to get used to the controls but after I got the hang of them the movement and momentum felt very nice. I love the 4th level with the elevator going up and down. Also the settings menu is a bit messed up so you might wanna look into that.
Thank you so much for playing, Gibbo! I'm glad you were able to get used to the controls and movement. Keyboard controls are something I'm still kinda massaging, the game feels a lot better on a controller. I'm glad you liked level four, I'm really happy with how the elevator mechanic worked out!
Yes, the settings menu is something I'm working on. Should be able to have it patched sometime next week.
Thanks again!!
Cute sonic inspired game. The first level felt a bit uninspired and slow with some frustrating jumps (since the controls were new), but stage 2 and 3 had more memorable jumps and obstacles, even if some jumps were scary (spikes and enemies). Almost gave up looking for the third circle collectable due to the odd jumping requirement and having to know "just" where to look during the loop that if you fail, you have to complete a whole section just to try again.
I didn't know until I read the other comment that the speed boost could be used as slow mo so I played with that and additionally found out that you could control the direction of the boost in 8 directions while immensely helped out in stage 4!
Stage 5 was too scary to explore in due to the turrets, but it was really fun outpacing them.
Loved the character and the victory animation. They were cute!
Thanks a bunch for playing!! I'm still working on balancing out the first few levels, to make them approachable but not boringly easy. The third level I've also got my gripes with, though ultimately none of these levels will make it to the final game anyways. I'm glad you had fun outpacing the turrets in stage 5.
Yes, I'm really happy with the victory animation, and with the robot's design! It took a good long while to really solidify.
Pretty good game especially for alpha!!! at first the movement and controls were a bit hard for me to grasp but after a bit of messing around i finally got used to it!!! i really liked the level design especially the last level and all the sprites look great i also liked messing around with slow motion !!9!!!!
Thank you so much!
